What you want is closer than you think [Wise Wednesdays]

 Earlier this month, a member of The Sanctuary: Deep Roots, High Wings made a radical move in her leadership role that she had been putting off for a long time. After a session, she took bold action. And just before our next call two weeks later, she received a positive response. We celebrated - not the outcome but the move. She was back in the flow of aligned action.

The space is designed for sanctuary-makers to make liberational moves that transform everything - often in ways they thought were impossible or years away. But also in small imperceptible ways that put cracks in old walls of fear. It’s not because they suddenly have more time or resources. It’s because they become more committed to their dreams than their fears and are open to receiving support to break through paralysis and self-doubt.

We dive deep to move past the voices that whisper: “I don’t have time.” “It’s not my time.” “It’s too late/too early.” “I don’t have X.” “I need more Y.” “I’ll do it when Z.”…

Because deep down, they know what they know.

And from the ground of shared reality and amplified energy within a liberating field of relationships, they spring out of the valley of fear and into action.

While others around you might be stuck in fear, ask yourself:

  • What do I know to be true?

  • Do I have the liberational support I need?

And remember: what you want is closer than you think.

It’s not 5 years away. It’s not waiting for magical time to appear in your schedule.It’s here. It’s now.

There’s a reason you want what you want most deeply…

As the mystical poet Rumi said:“What you seek is seeking you.”

He wasn’t talking about a job title, a bank balance, or a relationship.He was talking about the universal power that moves mountains and creates worlds.He was talking about what’s deep within you and around you.

  Have you ever had a colleague who seems to be involved in everything and know everyone? Perhaps they’re described as ‘ambitious’ or ‘determined’?... More importantly, they don’t seem to have much of a notion of boundaries and can accidentally help themselves to your resources or take credit for your work?... When your inner-demons are raging and you can’t get anything done: 3 appeasements

It’s 3am. You’re trying to fall asleep, but your mind is whirring like an overheated computer. So many scenarios to model, so many thoughts to process, so much to think about.
